2018 is a very busy year for us, with four picture books publishing with Egmont. First up is our collaboration with Pippa Curnick, The First Egg Hunt. It tells the story of the Easter Chick, who works so hard making everyone’s Easter eggs, only to have the Easter Bunny get all the credit. Not to be outdone, Chick hatches a cunning plan which accidentally turns into the best Easter Day ever!
Hot on the heels of The First Egg Hunt is the first in a brand new series of books, Molly’s Magic Wardrobe. It’s our collaboration with illustrator Garry Parsons and the first book is called Search for the Fairy Star. Here’s a sneak peak at Garry’s amazing cover:
If you haven’t seen School Gremlins yet (click here for cheeky trailer) it’s our second collaboration with the brilliant Chris Chatterton. If you want to learn how to draw a gremlin, Chris will be happy to show you here: How to Draw a Gremlin. We’re currently working with Chris on Christmas Gremlins for September 2018.
Our latest George book with Lee Wildish, Muffins for Mummies, is in the shops now, but coming up later in 2018 we have the eighth book in the series, Jellybeans for Giants. We’ll give you a sneak peak of Lee’s cover later in the year. It fits perfectly with Lee’s re-jacketing of the whole George’s Amazing Adventures series and is going down great!
We’re also so lucky to be working with the amazingly witty Ada Grey. Here’s our collaboration School for Dads. We are all very proud of this one. We have another two titles with Ada planned for 2019. Can’t wait!
2018 also sees the publication of another 36 Comet Street Kids titles for Reading Planet, published by Rising Stars.
Well, that’s it for now. We hope you enjoy finding out more about what we do. Please explore the site. We will be updating it with all our latest news and up-and-coming books as well as our appearances at literary festivals and author visits.
